UNCOMFORTABLE

over the past three months, I've realized the importance and shortness of life. As people, we spend very much time focusing on either school or work. We don't pay much attention to the importance of doing what makes us happy but to the necessities of just getting by in life.

it only takes a blink of an eye for our lives to completely change and we never know what life will throw at us. Hope for the best, expect the worst. Appreciate what you have now until it's gone. Life is about living like today is your last.

explore and adventure. Whether it's walking distance, or half way across the world.

the best feeling to feel is feeling uncomfortable because if we're always in our comfort zone, we'll never make space for new things. The best memories are made when we feel uncomfortable.

advice of the day:
+ feel uncomfortable as much as you can
+ achieve your life long goals
+ try new things

MOTHER'S DAY

a mother's relationship with her children is one of the most beautiful things.

mothers have the biggest impact in a family because of everything they do. They deserve the best and sometimes we do not necessarily give that to them.

as children, we make poor decisions and and we break some rules. When we grow older we learn that the things we did when we were younger were simply not worth it. We need to learn how to appreciate mothers and not take advantage of them because they are the most wonderful blessing we've been given.

next time they ask to us to take out the trash or clean our room, think about everything they've done for you. The least we can do is take out the trash or clean our room.

happy Mother's Day. I'm grateful for you mom and appreciate and embrase every moment I get to spend with you.

BIRTHDAY

my birthday was last week (April 30th) and it was probably one of the best birthdays I've had.

it started in the morning, I was getting ready for school, doing my regular routine. I was blow drying my hair and I had opened the bathroom door because it was getting a little hot. When I opened the door, I felt like someone was standing behind me. I looked back and saw someone there, I immediately began to panic. I had screamed louder than I ever have in my life and my body trembled for a quick second. I thought someone had entered the house. I slammed the door shut and then took a minute to breathe, I opened the door only enough to peek outside. I then realized that it was my boyfriend. I got embarrassed and I opened the door. I had felt so bad but then we started to laugh about it. When I finished getting ready I went to my room and he was sitting on my bed with flowers, a balloon, a stuffed animal, and a big cupcake. I felt grateful to have such a thoughtful and loving boyfriend like him. It had made my day and it was something I would never forget, that's for sure! (haha!)

at school my friends threw a surprise party for me in one of my teacher's classrooms.

I went out to dinner with my parents and boyfriend and the waiter noticed I was wearing a "Sweet 16" sash so he brought me a piece of cake without even us telling him too. (how sweet!)

overall, my day had went really amazing and had memorable surprises.
